I am now about 6'4 myself, and the idea of my dad carrying me on his back seems awkward. I'm nearly as tall and as big as him now. I have grown up from a hyperactive, ADD little boy to a grown up, matured young man.
This last week I started my final term in high school. This will be the last experience for me in school as a "child."It has brought to my attention some things I ought to accomplish before hi school is over including:
- Going on more dates (its gross to date hi schoolers when you yourself are out of high school)
- Spend some time with my great friend Ashley, since I haven't recently
- Getting a 4.0 for once
- finishing strong
This last week has involved much stress being devoted to an 8 page research paper due in my English class. I (mentally) worked on it all day on Saturday and only managed to squeak out 2 pages. It is taking much of my energy and I am not so sure I am willing to give it. But beyond that it was primary election week. Next week is Final Election week and the big anticipation is to see who will be president next year. This will be the first close race for that position, between Kyle Hansen and Taylor Otteson. Both fantastic kids, both in my ward. This will be a hard race for them. Also, I am anticipating to see if Hayley can win it. She is up against Carly Cosgrove: Cheerleader, popular girl, very likable and fun. The gold and red teams are getting busy and it will be good for all of them. The white team is going to be busy too (thats my team). We have many posters to be made, and dances to be choreographed. It will take some time for us to get to where we ought to be as well. That is kinda how my week is looking. Research Paper, and White Team, not to mention high anticipation for general conference on saturday. As high school continues to come to a close, especially seeing these elections come around, hopefully I will be able to fully see the end of my life at Mountain View, rather than asking "Where's the end!?" "Im here," is what it will be saying, and hopefully I will be facing in the right direction so I can see it coming, and greet it when it does.
